CEO
Mr. Schaaf is the managing director and founder of Realog International Holding GmbH, Realog Consulting GmbH, and Realog Systems GmbH. Mr. Schaaf specializes in air freight supply chain management, air cargo analytics, on-airport cargo, logistics facility development processes, operations, design, tender management, installation and site supervision with a particular expertise in automation and material handling systems. Mr. Schaaf has many years of experience in project management of large cargo terminal developments. Prior to working with Realog, Mr. Schaaf was a senior vice president in aviation and supply chain management with D.Logistics and senior project manager in air cargo finance and development at Lufthansa Cargo AG. Mr. Schaaf holds an MBA (Logistics) from the University of Mannheim. Mr. Schaaf has over 30 years of experience in the air cargo industry. Mr. Schaaf holds several patents in air cargo design and automation.
Barry Zigner
Managing Partner, Realog Systems & Realog Digital Solutions
Barry Zigner is an expert in air cargo IT systems, process optimization, and digital solutions for supply chain visibility and collaboration. With decades of experience in developing advanced logistics software, he specializes in designing intelligent platforms that improve operational planning, steering, and real-time control across the airfreight supply chain.
Before forming Realog Systems, Barry founded Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) and served as its CEO, overseeing the development, marketing, and global implementation of industry-leading Air Cargo Handling ERP solutions. Under his leadership, HLT grew from a start-up to a multi-million-revenue organization with a product recognized as one of the best in class for cargo terminals.
Barry continues to advise major aviation organizations on digital transformation, operational efficiency, and the future of air cargo IT. He is a strong advocate for intelligent algorithms and AI-driven systems to significantly enhance productivity, throughput, and handling performance across airports and logistics hubs.

Dr. Rimke holds a PhD (Physics) from University Mainz and has over 30 years of experience in the air cargo industry.

Senior MHS Engineer
Perumal Ramasamy Thevar has over 20 years of experience in cargo and baggage handling systems, with expertise in the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of complex projects in major airports and logistics facilities.
His career spans leadership roles in project and site management, automation systems, and operation & maintenance, including positions with Realog Consulting SEA, Beumer Group, and Loedige Industries. Perumal is skilled in managing stakeholder coordination, overseeing technical compliance, and delivering large-scale system upgrades and refurbishments.
Holding a Graduate Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®), Perumal brings a hands-on approach to control systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting advanced material handling and scanning systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest operational standards.
Julian Schopohl

Manager
Julian holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and brings more than 8 years of international project management experience. Prior to joining Realog, he worked at Lödige Industries and its international entities in Germany, Hong Kong, and Australia, delivering complex material handling, pallet handling, and ULD handling systems across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America.
He has successfully managed projects from Functional Design Specification (FDS) through on-site execution, commissioning, and final handover. Julian combines strong technical expertise with excellent coordination and leadership skills in international project environments.

Hanna Masri is an electrical engineer with over two decades of experience in cargo terminal operations, material handling systems, and ground support equipment (GSE) management. He has held senior roles at Royal Jordanian Airlines, overseeing preventive maintenance, budget control, workforce training, and operational planning for large-scale cargo facilities.
Before joining Realog Consulting, Hanna managed complex engineering projects as Electrical Projects Manager at United International Contractor, successfully delivering on-time, budget-aligned solutions. His career spans leadership in equipment commissioning, process optimization, and operational support for both manufacturing and aviation sectors.

Gong Yew How is a Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Material Handling Systems (MHS) engineer with 7 years of experience delivering airport automation and logistics projects. He specializes in installation, testing & commissioning, AutoCAD design, and site coordination, supporting reliable and efficient system performance.
Before joining Realog, he worked with Pteris Global, Spanners International, and Beumer Group, contributing to major airport projects including Cairo Terminal 3, Nepal TIA, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Wilmington International Airport, and New Delhi T1/T3.
At Realog, Yew How supports the engineering and supervision of airport baggage and cargo handling systems, ensuring high-quality execution, technical compliance, and operational readiness for client facilities.
Wen Qi Koh
Engineer and Project Coordinator
Wen Qi is an engineer and project coordinator specializing in project and facilities management for cargo facilities. She has expertise in audits, scheduling, and regulatory compliance, and is proficient in applying Building Information Modelling (BIM), data analysis, and emerging technology solutions to optimize project delivery.
Before joining Realog Consulting SEA, Wen Qi worked with Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co. in Singapore, where she contributed to engineering projects by ensuring compliance, coordinating audits, and preparing detailed asset management reports. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (Project and Facilities Management) with Direct Honours from the National University of Singapore.
